The photo that works best
Children's faces are small in most photos, so this matters more than it does for adults.
Do
- Use a photo where their face fills a good part of the frame and is looking roughly at the camera.
- Daylight or a bright room. A phone photo is perfect.
- Hair off the face, no sunglasses. Glasses are fine if they're clear.
- A natural smile beats a posed grin.
Avoid
- Tiny faces in a big scene, blurry action shots, heavy filters.
- Hats, face paint, or a hand in front of the face.
- Very dark or backlit photos where the face is in shadow.
- Screenshots of photos: use the original for the best detail.

Accounts are held by adults. When you upload a photo of a child you confirm you're their parent or guardian, or have permission. The photo is used only to create the artwork and isn't kept in any gallery. Only a watermarked preview of the finished design is ever visible outside your account; the print-quality file stays private and is used just for your garment. From age 3 to about 14. The Kids' Organic T-Shirt is sized by age (3–4 up to 12–13 years) and the Youth T-Shirt and Youth Sweatshirt run XS to XL for older children and teens. Chest measurements for every size are in the size guide when you order, and if a child is between sizes we suggest sizing up.
Will the superhero actually look like my child?
Yes, that's the point. The AI works from the photo you upload and keeps their likeness recognisable, then reimagines them in the style and with the super-power you choose. A clear, well-lit photo with their face filling a good part of the frame gives the best result, and you can generate up to 5 designs a day until you're happy.
Can I put two children on one t-shirt?
Yes. Upload a photo with both of them in it and pick both faces when you generate; the AI creates them as a duo in the same style. For separate shirts, make one design per child and add each to your basket, then check out once.
Is it safe to upload a photo of my child?
The photo is used only to create the artwork and isn't kept in any gallery or used for anything else. Accounts must be held by an adult who confirms they're the child's parent or guardian, or has permission. Only a watermarked preview is ever visible outside your account, and the print-quality file stays private.
